Royal Distributing CXCC East - 2014 Finale at Walton

September 12, 2014

For Immediate Release – Sept 11, 2014

The crew at Walton offered up another great course this past weekend to cap off the 2014 Royal Distributing Canadian Cross Country Championship. Over the last few months they added new trail to create the best Walton off-road course yet.

These were the final two rounds of the CXCC East and in the Pro class both days provided epic racing between Yamaha Canada’s Brian Wojnarowski and Zach Lewis. Zach won the Saturday race so going into Sunday Wojo had a slim 3 point lead. With Zach taking the win again on Sunday, it left Brian and Zach tied on points, tied on first place wins and tied on second place wins. The tie breaker went in the favor of Zach Lewis as he won the final round. He commented after that he had never passed and been passed so many times. On the podium the new young champion only had great things to say about Brian Wojnarowski and the rest of his competition.

There was great racing in all the Amateur classes as well and on Sunday all the champions were awarded thier CXCC East #1 plates. Champions in all classes are as follows:
