Walton Raceway Announces 2015 Canadian Outdoor, Motorcycle & Power Sports Expo set to take place in conjunction with the Parts Canada TransCan
WALTON, Ontario. (February 18, 2015) – Walton Raceway has huge ambitions for 2015, as they launch the inaugural Canadian Outdoor, Motorcycle & Power Sports EXPO (COMP EXPO), in conjunction with the 24th annual Parts Canada TransCan; Canadian Motocross Grand National Championship.
The concept of the Canadian Outdoor, Motorcycle & Power Sports Expo is part of Walton Raceways vision of partnering together with all aspects of the Outdoors, Motorcycle and Power Sports industry while focusing on attracting new consumers to the marketplace and showcasing for existing consumers all the different areas our sport has to offer.
COMP Expo will be the first show in Canada that gives consumers, trade and media personal the opportunity to see live championship racing, combined with having the OEMs, after market suppliers, dealers and more in attendance for a Grand Celebration of the Canadian Power Sports Industry and Championship Racing.
“Our with goals of adding COMP Expo with the Parts Canada TransCan are: To create further awareness about Canadian Power Sports, while attracting new fans and consumers to the marketplace, as well as bringing the entire industry together at one place, at the right time, for the onsite launch of many of the next year’s models, products, parts, gear and accessories,” said Mark Perrin, Director of Marketing for Walton Raceway. “COMP Expo is working with industry partners to offer as many onsite demos and product releases as possible, to ensure consumers can view, touch and feel a product while capturing the live event and championship racing experience”.
COMP Expo was modeled after the USA’s AIMExpo, as well as the European Supershows and is diversified into the main classifications of Outdoors, Motorcycle and Power Sports. Each area is composed of unique characteristics. The Outdoors will be focused on the involvement of many outdoor recreational activities, as part of our Edge of Walton Challenge Course that is located at Walton Raceway. The Motorcycle portion, will take the existing Motocross structure that is place with Canada’s Largest Motocross Event and expand into the other areas of Motorcycling, welcoming the entire off-‐road community, as well as road, sport, touring and additional markets. In Power Sport we want to incorporate all the seasons Canada has to offer, by including ATV, Side by Sides, Snowmobiles and Watercrafts.
Walton Raceway is excited to capture the vision of COMP Expo as the new grand stage for the power sports business in Canada. Its refreshing to bringing new ideas to the Parts Canada TransCan Canadian Motocross Grand National Championship event and environment and expand the Parts Canada TransCan to incorporate something for all motorcycle and power sports enthusiasts, while being the first to embrace the innovative concept of bringing all corners of motorcycling and power sports in Canada together, with live championship racing, at one place, during one time – at the right place at the right time.
