The 10-round Rockstar Energy CMRC Canadian National series has come to an end, and Tyler Medaglia reflects on his season with Husqvarna Motorcycles. “I feel good about how I rode all season, it actually went by really fast. The MX1 class was stacked this year and very competitive, I had to work hard but all of that hard worked paid off. I really enjoyed our set-up too, it had a very new-age, euro style to it and I got to connect with the fans a lot more. I think the entire feeling around Husqvarna is that they are more approachable and inviting, people seem to really like that. I felt comfortable inviting people in to visit and my mechanic made sure that everything with the bike was perfect all the time. Our program was run professionally but still gave us a lot of freedom and was based largley on trust which was very refreshing. The entire family was able to get involved if they wanted to and it really felt like collective effort between everyone. The bike worked amazing all year, I really like the FC450 and after trying the new bikes I’m even more excited about next season. I’m not a big guy so in the future I wouldn’t mind trying an FC350, I rode the new ones in Budds Creek recently and they are unreal. I’m grateful to Parts Canada for all their support, the Thor gear and Alpinestars worked well and I was comfortable all year. Also I am very thankful to Belray for their amazing support and of course Husqvarna for seeing my potential and believing in me. So many other people and sponsors helped me out and I can’t say thank you enough to all of them. I’m excited at the opportunities I’m getting with Husqvarna because I’ve been able to have fun trying new things. I’m going to try an AMA outdoor MX this weekend, and later next month I’m going to do another GNCC as well. I am looking forward to riding more off-road in the off season and expanding my horizons more. My kids are starting to show an interest in the bikes now too so I’m looking forward to the near future when Talon starts riding. All in all it’s been a great year and I feel like I’ve got a lot of momentum to carry me through into next season .“

Husqvarna Motorcycles would like to congratulate Tyler on a very successful season. His hard work and dedication shines through in everything he does, and he has certainly made everyone proud this year not only with his results, but with his winning attitude and passion for the sport.

Congratulations Tyler!
