THE CANADIAN ROCKSTAR ENERGY MX NATIONAL SERIES ENDS ON A HIGH NOTE FOR TYLER MEDAGLIA

PARTS CANADA HUSQVARNA RIDER TYLER MEDAGLIA TAKES THE HOLESHOT IN MOTO 1 AND FINISHES 2ND OVERALL AT ROUND 10.

Surrounded by friends and family, Tyler Medaglia enjoyed his best race of the season at the closing round in Barrie, Ontario. Between races, a relaxed and cheerful Tyler visited with his parents and several friends and fans under the Husqvarna tents. When the gate dropped for moto 1, Tyler was all-business and took control of the track immediately with the first holeshot of the day. Near the halfway mark Tyler slipped into 2nd place and maintained his position in the incredibly talented MX1 class until the checkered flag. Coping with two fractured ribs from a crash the weekend before, a sore yet determined Tyler took the gate to start the second moto later that day. During the second moto, Tyler battled with the top three riders and fought until the bitter end, landing the 2nd spot on the podium, securing him a 2nd place overall finish for the day.

Tyler Medaglia: “The final round went very well. We made a huge gearing change for this weekend looking to improve my starts. In doing so we got the holeshot in moto 1 and led a bunch of laps to finish in 2nd. In moto 2 I had another top 3 start and had a full one-on-one battle with Benoit for second place. I made the pass with three to go! I ended the season on a high note which is important. The whole crew is really tight-knit and worked extremely hard this year. My parents come to all the races still and believe in me through all the highs and lows which really keeps me motivated.”

With the 2016 Rockstar Energy MX Canadian series coming to an end, Tyler will finish the year in 6th place, and more determined than ever for next year. Tyler plans to enjoy some valuable family time before his next endeavor which will take him overseas to represent Canada in the MX of Nations later this year. In addition to the MX of Nations, expect to see Tyler doing what he loves, riding and racing anything with two wheels on and offroad until next season.
