Monster Energy Alpinestars Kawasaki Scores Podium at Round 2 of the Canadian Motocross Nationals

Hayes scores 3rd overall at inaugural Prince George Race

June 13, 2017(Kam/oops, British Columbia) The
2017 CMRC Canadian Motocross series moved to a new venue this past weekend as the team made their way north to Prince George, British Columbia for round two of the series, at the Blackwater MX track. After a solid start to the series at Kamloops the week before, the team made some bike changes during the week and they paid off, with holeshots in both classes and a podium finish for Jacob Hayes in MX2.

After getting injured at the opening round last season, Jacob Hayes was happy just to get through last week's season opener unhurt and came into Prince George ready to step it up. He would grab the holeshot in the first MX2 moto and ride to his first Canadian podium finish on the strength of 5-3 moto finishes, for third overall.

Mike Alessi would also grab a holeshot, nailing the start in the second MXI moto. He would finish the day with 5-4 moto finishes, for fifth overall.

The series now heads to Calgary, Alberta for round three, at the Wild Rose MX facility, in the heart of the city.
