Brantford ON Canada - June 11th 2013
Jordan Szoke followed up the very first Mopar Canadian Superbike National Championship weekend at Shannonville Motorsports Park with another win at Kelso Conservation Area using pedal power instead of horsepower.
“We just got back from Shannonville on Monday, and I haven’t been able to pedal for almost a week. It’s tough to recover from one event to bounce back quickly to attend the next.” says Szoke. “Although my competitive nature helps speed up recovery time.”
The Weekly Kelso Mountian Bike Race Series is held at the Kelso Conservation Area, with a full calendar hosting 14 races plus a finale event at the end of the season. The series has welcomed many professional O-Cup and Canada Cup racers offering a good training ground with some of the best climbs that Southern Ontario has to offer.
“The conditions tonight were a bit sloppy and I think I chose the wrong tires!” laughs Szoke. “So I just put my head down and pushed as hard as I could. Lucky for me that ended up with a win.”
Jordan currently leads the Kelso Championship and will continue to represent Bicycle Works for the remainder of the season.
“I am going to attend as many of these events as I can, I would really like to add another championship in a different discipline to my resume.” says Szoke.
Watch for Jordan showing off his Observed Trials skills at the next Bulls and Bikes event June 22nd in Sudbury. For ticket information visit:
