Brantford ON Canada - July 2nd 2013

Jordan Szoke, eight time Canadian Superbike Champion, continued his winning streak Tuesday evening at the Kelso Conservation Area Mountain Bike Race Series. Szoke has claimed all seven victories in the series thus far, stretching his points lead to 300. This puts him just two points ahead of second place.

“I thought I was in for a heap of trouble this evening.” says Jordan. “I was really feeling the pinch of our busy schedule. Bring competitive in three disciplines (Superbike, Trials and Cycling) I had thought wore me out for tonight. I guess I was mistaken!” Szoke seized the victory 15 seconds ahead of the rest of the field completing the the 24 km three lap loop in 55 min 56 seconds.

“I thought I almost let the win slip away on the second lap.” says Szoke. “I ran into some traffic in less than desirable places. That cut down my lead a bit and allowed everyone to catch back up. So I put my head down and hammered out the last one to bring another one home.”

The weekly Kelso Conservation Area Mountain Bike Race Series is held at the Kelso Conservation Area, with a full calendar hosting 14 races plus a finale event at the end of the season.

Jordan proudly continues to represent Bicycle Works for the remainder of the season.

Watch for Jordan defending his points lead in the Canadian Superbike Championship July 5-7th at Autodrome St Eustache in St Eustache Quebec, Canada.
