FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Toronto, ONT- Alex Welsh and the AW7R/Kenwood Suzuki Team aim to keep the momentum going as they head to Round 2 of the Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship this coming weekend July 5-7 at Autodrome St-Eustache.
After finishing a very close 3rd place at the opening round held at Shannonville Motorsport Park, Welsh used the 3 week break to better prepare himself and the equipment for the upcoming challenge at the circuit north of Montreal. A big fan of the Autodrome, the Uxbridge, Ont native believes this will translate into positive results.
Alex Welsh – “We had a strong race at Shannonville a few weeks ago but I wasn’t able to deliver the overall result we were hoping for. It was definitely something to build on however, as Z1 CycleTech has been working hard to improve our ignition and fuel maps
while Vass Performance has found some small improvements in our chassis package over the break. We had a strong package begin with but we all worked hard to improve so I am excited to see our progress.”
