PART # DESCRIPTION 0925-1163 405 chain drive cam REAPER® CAMS FOR 17-22 M-EIGHT • Produce more power and torque in the riding rpm range, improving throttle response, acceleration and fuel mileage • Smooth camshaft lobe ramps are easier on valvetrain components and eliminate excessive valvetrain noise and wear • Dyno proven and track tested • Made in the U.S.A. NOTE: Screamin’ Eagle® cylinder heads have high-lift valve springs and do accept the 521 grind cam. NOTE: Due to the unstable nature of this 4-valve engine design with one rocker arm activating two valve springs, Feuling highly recommends running one-piece pushrods over quick-install adjustable pushrods to maintain maximum cam/ valve lift and reduce valvetrain harmonics and associated hydraulic lifter issues. NOTE: Feuling fastener kit PART #2401-0994 also highly recommended to help prevent cylinder head cracking; kit replaces the rocker shaft bolts with studs and nuts to help reduce the stress of the rocker shaft standoffs. 405 CAM • Produces a wide powerband that increases torque and horsepower throughout the entire rpm range • Direct bolt-in replacement for M-Eight engines; can be used with stock valve springs, pushrods, lifters and exhaust • Will respond well when used with slip-on mufflers or full exhaust system and a high-flow air cleaner • Feuling recommends mufflers with smaller cores for the best low-rpm power • 1700 - 5700 rpm range 465 CAM • Produces solid bottom-end performance and substantial gains above 2800 rpm compared to the stock cams • Direct bolt-in replacement for M-Eight engines; can be used with stock valve springs, pushrods, lifters and exhaust • Will respond well when used with slip-on mufflers or a full exhaust system and a high-flow air cleaner • Use of performance valve springs is not required but may result in a quieter, smoother-running valve train • Responds well when combined with increased engine bore and/or engine compression • 1850 - 5950 rpm range 472 CAM • Great all-around camshaft and Feulings go to for 41/2 stroke 114” - 117” engines looking for a little more than the 465 grind and wanting a bolt-in • Has a great bottom end with substantial gains above 2800 rpm when compared to stock • Use of performance valve springs is not required but may result in a quieter, smoother-running valve train; see PART #0926-2973 or 0926-2974 on page 522 • Responds very well to increased bore and or compression, exhaust system and air cleaner 508 CAM • The Grim Reaper Aggressive pulling power with a nasty sound • This camshaft revs up faster than the 521 grind, sounds nastier and pulls harder, but is more difficult to tune • The REAPER 508 grind will shine in 114” and larger cubic inch engines with added compression ratio • Ported cylinder heads are not required, but will complement the cam and add even more pulling power throughout the range • The stock throttle body produces an excellent powerband and use of a high-flow throttle body will increase peak power numbers • A high-flow exhaust system and air cleaner is highly recommended for optimal performance • Feuling recommends matching 508 cam with Race Series® oiling system PART #0932-0199 • Requires high lift valve springs; see PART #0926-2973 or 0926-2974 on page 522 • Heavy-duty pushrods are highly recommended; see PART #0928-0091 • 2250 - 5900 rpm range 521 CAM • Aggressive pulling power with a “nasty” sound, the Reaper 521 grind will shine in 114” and larger cubic inch engines with added compression ratio • Ported cylinder heads are not required, but will complement the cam and add even more pulling power throughout the range • Stock throttle body produces an excellent powerband; use of a high-flow throttle body may increase peak power numbers • A high-flow exhaust system and air cleaner is highly recommended for optimal performance • Feuling recommends matching 521 cam with Race Series oiling system PART #0932-0199 • Requires high lift valve springs; see PART #0926-2973 or 0926-2974 on page 522 • Heavy-duty one-piece pushrods are also highly recommended; see PART #0928-0091 on page 522 • 2250 - 6250 rpm range 592 CAM • Get serious with bore size, ported cylinder heads and throttle body • Aggressive camshaft requiring high lift and higher load valve springs, performance pushrods and lifters • High-flow air cleaner and triple-stepped exhaust pipe highly recommended • Feuling also recommends matching this cam with Race Series® oiling system PART #0932-0199 or #0932-0218 • Requires High lift/high load valve springs; see PART #0926-3138 on page 522 • Heavy-duty pushrods are highly recommended see PART #0928-0091 • High lift valve springs, performance pushrods and lifters required • 2850 - 6250 rpm range PART # DESCRIPTION 0925-1164 465 chain drive cam PART # DESCRIPTION 0925-1325 472 chain drive cam PART # DESCRIPTION 0925-1283 508 chain drive cam PART # DESCRIPTION 0925-1210 521 chain drive cam PART # DESCRIPTION 0925-1265 592 chain drive cam
