PART # DESCRIPTION 0930-0239 For 17-22 M-Eight NOTE: Testing on a healthy engine with no external venting (sealed dipstick and transmission top cover) will see 3-4 oz. of oil in the sump and once dipstick is removed another 3-4 oz will drain OIL PUMP GEAR ALIGNMENT TOOL • Align the oil pump gear flats with the flats of the crankshaft • Feuling recommends assembling the camplate, oil pump, camshaft together on the bench, lining up the oil pump gear flats with crankshaft flats and installing the complete assembly into the camchest as one complete unit • This procedure has proven to provide the best seal on the back scavenge port of the oil pump to engine case as the parts are always going inwards towards the scavenge port • Twin Cam engines: rotate the crankshaft flats so they are horizontal and align oil pump gear flats horizontal to match • M-Eight engines: rotate the crankshaft flats so they are vertical and align oil pump gear flats vertical to match • Made in the U.S.A.
